About me

I am an associate professor of sciences at Yale-NUS College, and also an associate professor of mathematics at UC Santa Cruz (on leave).  I received my AB in mathematics from Princeton in 1999, PhD in mathematics from Harvard in 2003, and was an NSF postdoctoral fellow at UC Berkeley from 2003-2006.  Since 2006, I have taught and researched at UC Santa Cruz.  My specialties are number theory and representation theory, especially representations of p-adic groups and automorphic representations.
